About Us

Eureka Hydrologic Pty Ltd (ACN 119 339 525) is a new hydrologic consultancy based in Brisbane, Australia. The Director, John Harbison, is a hydrogeologist and chemist with experience in groundwater resource, environmental and groundwater contamination investigations.

Current projects include numerical modelling of groundwater for coal mining and unsaturated flow in landfills.

All work is conducted in accordance with general scientific principles. Conceptual and numerical modelling is conducted in accordance with existing guidelines.

For the benefit of water managers, uncertainties inherent in assessment of hydrologic and hydrogeologic systems and also methods for addressing such uncertainties are outlined. Increasingly, adequately addressing and dealing with such uncertainty is a requirement of regulators.
